EDMOND, Okla. (Oct. 6, 2016) – Petar Popovic paced the Southeastern singles competitors and joined with Alberto Blesa for doubles play as Southeastern played in the ITA Regional Championships in Edmond, Okla.

Popovic cruised to a 6-3, 6-1 win in the opening round over Brett White of Washburn, and followed it up with a 6-1, 7-6 upset of 16th seeded Zach Adkins of Augustana to reach the round of 16.

His run would end there, however, on a 6-2, 6-3 loss to top seeded Sherif Abohabaga from Southwest Baptist.
