Airport commission expects to finalize taxiway project

The Alva Airport Commission continues to work on improvements for the local airport. During their meeting Monday at 7 p.m. at the airport, the commission will discuss and act on closing the airport taxiway contract with Nash Construction. That had been held up until some items were fixed to the satisfaction of the commission.
The commission will discuss and act on the construction of the pad site for the new T-hangar project, the repair project at the South Share Hangar (coping with water drainage), and a ground lease with the Woods County Industrial Authority.
