Black linens and glittery gold goblets filled with greenery transformed the normally monochromatic Alva Middle School cafeteria into a magical banquet hall for the second annual Distinguished Goldbug Awards Banquet. Memorabilia from years past filled tables lining the hallway.
Thursday evening, the Alva Goldbug Education Foundation honored four outstanding people for their contributions to education in Alva in various fields.
