AHS Cheer decorates for homecoming

On Saturday, Oct. 8, the Alva High School cheerleaders decorated the high school for homecoming week. The AHS cheerleaders had a lock-in to decorate for homecoming.

“We got to the school around 9:30 p.m., and we fully finished decorating at around 4:30 a.m.,” said sophomore cheerleader Landry Gaddy.

The cheerleaders had a little help with the decorations from the third-grade class at Longfellow Elementary. The third-grade students made black and gold paper chains that the cheerleaders could use to decorate the hallways with.
