H2O members 'Move More' with elementary students

Alva High School H2O members talki to Lincoln Elementary students about the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.

On Friday, Oct. 7, the Alva High School Heath 2 Others (H2O) group went to Lincoln and Longfellow Elementary schools to teach the kids the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. This event was called Walk to School Day.

The H2O members had a blast playing games with the students, and teaching them about why it's important to be active. This event took quite a lot of planning, as the officers of H2O met with Steve Parkhurst, the superintendent of Alva Public Schools, many times to prepare for this event.

Everything went according to plan, and all of the hard work and preparation was well worth...
