After being locked up on seven felony charges involving drugs and a firearm, Bradford Prophet bonded out of the Woods County Jail on Oct. 13. It didn’t take long for him to run afoul of the law and land back behind bars.

According to court records, on Tuesday, Oct. 18, about 3:50 p.m. Woods County Deputy Sheriff Adam Honeyman was driving west on U.S. Highway 64 about two miles west of Alva. He met a red and gray older model Ford pickup pulling a trailer of oilfield equipment including cables and wiring. He saw that neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing a seatbelt.
