Alva to host state leadership class in December

Alva Economic Director Alex Mantz tells the Alva Touirsm Committee about the OML Leadership Class. She asked for funds so Alva could host a class session in December.
The City of Alva Tourism Tax Committee granted the only request for funding on their agenda Wednesday. They approved minutes of last month's meeting and the financial report, which shows $588,229.55 available for distribution to tourism-related activities and items. Present were Chairman Norville Ritter, Jaunita Dotson, Dr. Charles Tucker and Terri Parsons. Bryce Benson was absent.
