Melanie Gaisford is shown sitting on her beautiful porch at 1030 11th St. Neighbors confirm that there is always something outstanding on this porch during each season of the year and on holidays too.
The Alva Garden Club Council has selected the home at 1030 11th St. as the 2016 Fall Porch of the Season. The Gaisfords – Jason and Melanie – have been at their home since 2003 and they love their neighborhood.
Melanie said, "I love anything that is easy to grow! My favorite season to decorate the porch is fall. I love all the colors and all the different types of pumpkins that are available now. It is also fun to mix old worn buckets or containers with the bright colors of fall."
