MANSFIELD, Texas – Junior Baylor Harvey won the Heartland Conference individual championship in the Heartland Conference Championships on Saturday (Oct. 22). The Hillcats as a team placed third.

Harvey, a junior from Cleveland, Oklahoma, lowered his own school record and repeated as the conference champion. He last won the race in 2014, his second straight conference win as he redshirted in 2015. Harvey won by 23 seconds and lowered the school record to 24:21.7 in the 8,000 meter race.
