Alva schools receive grades of A and C

The Oklahoma State Department of Education has released the A-F Report Cards for the 2015-2016 school year. Alva’s five schools received As and Cs.

Letter grades are based on student performance (50 percent), overall student growth (25 percent) and bottom growth (25 percent). Student achievement is based on the school testing program assessments in grades three through high school.
