CONWAY, Ark. – Suzanne Afchain set a pair of pool records as Oklahoma Baptist swam away with the Hendrix Classic Saturday.
Afchain, in the 400 medley relay, established Bob Courtway Pool records in the 50 and 100 meter backstroke to lead off the relay. Afchain, Miriam Avila Martinez, Grace Anne Clayton and Victoria Fonvillewon the event in 3:59.30.
The Lady Bison won every race and one of two diving events and scored 727 points to finish 267 points ahead of runner-up Henderson State. Texas-Permian Basin was third at 271, followed by Hendrix at 167, Centenary at 159, McMurry at 105, St. Gregory...
