Country club asking for tourism funding

The Alva Golf and Country Club is requesting tourism tax funds to be used for the replacement of their swimming pool. That’s the only request on the agenda for the Alva Tourism Tax Committee meeting Wednesday. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall.
The country club request is for funds not to exceed $50,000. The only other agenda items are minutes approval and the October financial report....
