Drug buy leads to charges against Guymon man

A monitored drug buy resulted in charges against a young man from Guymon. Brandon Fox Solberg, 19, of Guymon has been charged with a felony of distribution of controlled dangerous substances (marijuana) within 2,000 ft. of a school and minor. The crime is punishable by imprisonment for four years to life or a fine of up to $40,000, or both imprisonment and fine.

According to records in the case, Alva Police Officer William Barnum worked with a confidential informant (CI) to set up a purchase of marijuana from Solberg. The CI made contact with Solberg by text message and agreed to purchase one...
