Dr. Mike Knedler of Edmond, formerly of Alva, has been named as one of the 2016 Governor's Arts Awards recipients. In October the Oklahoma Arts Council announced the names of 13 individuals and eight organizations to be honored for their contributions to the arts in Oklahoma during the 41st Annual Governor's Arts Awards on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
