With the expiration of the term of Terry Cline, Steve Ward was welcomed to the Alva Hospital Authority meeting Tuesday night. He took his seat along with members Halah Simon, Ken Brown, Darlene Sanderson, Jason Gaisford and Dr. Elizabeth Kinzie. Bo Hannaford, a member, was not in attendance.

One of the first actions was to give Dr. Elizabeth Kinzie a pay raise to $260,000 per year. CEO Kandice Allen said Kinzie makes enormous contributions to the hospital and a couple years ago the administrators started discussion on making her pay more competitive.
