Man wanted in Texas charged with meth possession

A man wanted by Texas authorities was arrested in Alva last Sunday. He’s now facing a drug possession charge in Woods County District Court.

According to court documents, on Sunday, Nov. 13, about 10:56 a.m. Woods County Undersheriff Keith Dale observed a man he knew to be Jimmy Jack Turner at the Shirley Shine Carwash in the 600 block of East Oklahoma Boulevard. Turner was washing a Ford F-150 pickup that he is known to drive. Dale knew from previous criminal investigations that Turner had a valid felony warrant for his arrest out of Nacogdoches County, Texas, for possession of a control...
