More than 20 Northwestern students volunteered to give back to community for Rake and Run event

Northwestern Oklahoma State University students volunteered their time to be a part of the second annual Rake and Run event sponsored by the Offices of Student Housing and Service Learning and Civic Engagement on Sunday.

The Ministerial Alliance partnered with Northwestern's housing office to find local residents who were unable to rake the leaves in their yards. Students helped rake leaves at 24 homes in the Alva area as a way to give back to members of community.
