William Eugene Potter, 96, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016, at his residence. Bill served in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant Combat Engineer during World War II. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his service.

He was the son of the late Willard and Leona Potter.

Bill was also preceded in death by his wife of 61 years.

Survivors include two daughters, one brother, nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
