A fire call led to a child neglect charge being filed against an Alva woman. Bonnie Marie Selvey, 30, of Alva has been charged with felony child neglect. The crime is punishable by imprisonment in the custody of the Department of Corrections not exceeding life imprisonment, or by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year, or by a fine of not less than $500 nor more the $5,000, or both such fine and imprisonment.
