Driver arrested after striking parked vehicle

A driver was arrested after she struck a parked vehicle on Murray Street in Alva. The collision occurred at 9:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11.
According to the Alva police report, Carey Ann Crawford, 41, of Alva was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Impala north on Murray Drive and struck a 2008 Ford that was parked on the east side of the street facing south. The parked vehicle was owned by Mathew Wayne Campbell of Alva. The vehicles both had disabling damage to the right front quarter.
Crawford was arrested at the scene for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
