UAM women's basketball downed by Rangers in Alva

ALVA, OK — The University of Arkansas at Monticello women's basketball team was downed in the second game of its Oklahoma road trip by Great American Conference opponent Northwestern Oklahoma State by a final score of 69-55.
The Blossoms (3-3, 1-3 GAC) held a 32-28 lead over the Rangers of Northwestern Oklahoma (3-5, 2-2 GAC) after the first half of play with UAM and NWOSU trading lead changes and ties throughout. The second half saw Northwestern take control of the match-up, outscoring Arkansas-Monticello 41-23 and went on to claim the victory at 69-55 overall.
