Alva police worked three accidents recently. One involved a hit and run, another was a failure to yield and the third was a runaway sanitation truck. No injuries were listed in the collisions.

Hit and Run

On Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 11:45 a.m. Dalores Marie Howell, 26, of Alva was driving a 2006 Pontiac and had stopped in the drive-through of McDonald’s. She reported that a 2009 Buick was also in the drive-through and failed to stop, striking the rear of her vehicle.
