Howard Shines For Lady Bisons at Crimson & Gold Invitational

PITTSBURG, Kan. – Harding sophomore Chelsea Howard placed seventh in two different events in very deep fields at the Crimson and Gold Invitational on Saturday. The indoor track and field meet was hosted by Pittsburg State University inside the Robert W. Plaster Center.

Howard, a sprinter from Texarkana, Texas, placed seventh of 47 competitors in the 60-meter dash in 7.83 seconds, her personal-best time in three career 60-meter dash races.

Howard also placed seventh in a field of 36 runners in the 200 meters, finishing in 25.45 in her first career indoor race at that distance. Her time was the...
