Biology biomes

Dixie Meyer's Biology I students this semester had to build a shoebox size 3D model of the biome of their choice, helping them to be able to truly grasp and understand their lesson.
"I think some students learn better with kinetic, hands-on activity" said Meyer. The students had two weeks to come up with a biome that included plants, animals and a box decorated to look like a specific biome. The students had no limits on what they could use to build the biome, as long as it was no bigger than a shoebox.
