Many Alva qualifiers at Arnett Speech Contest

On Saturday, Dec. 3, the Alva speech and debate team headed to Arnett for their second qualifying speech contest of the year. Eleven out of 13 Alva High School (AHS) students that competed qualified in various events, and 11 schools were present for the competition. Thirteen-year speech and debate coach Nick Bradt said his favorite part about coaching speech and debate is “getting to see kids with their finished product and getting to help them reach their goals.”
