Nadine Lois Keitel was born on September 18, 1930, and passed away on December 25, 2016, at the age of 86 years, 3 months and 7 days. Nadine was born in Capron, Oklahoma to Walter Joseph and Hulda (Quast) Kunzman.

She graduated from Capron High School in 1948. Obtaining her degree in business, Nadine graduated from NWOSU and worked for the Alva Farmer's Co-op in bookkeeping.

While working at the co-op, she met Richard Eugene Keitel whom she later married on May 9, 1954. To this marriage, two children were born: Georgianna and Bruce.
