The Burlington Board of Education met for their December meeting the evening of Dec. 19. President Terry Graham called the meeting to order with all members present including: Allison Armbruster, Aaron Smith, T.J. Rockenbach and Robert Hill. Others present were: Superintendent Glen Elliott, Principal Shane Feely, and Minutes Clerk Tamre McGinnis.
Following a near 50 minute executive session, the board voted to employ Nicole Kern as the sixth-grade teacher for the remainder of the 2016-2017 school year staring Jan. 3, 2017.
