The Alva Tulip Garden Club began January 2016 with a Winter Wonderland display at the Alva Public Library decorated by member Genevieve Farris.

Members judged entries in the Butterfly poster contest and sent the winners to compete at the state level, and displayed remaining entries at the Woods County Senior Citizen Center and at Alva's Market.

Donations were collected for Alva Public School supplies and new carpet was installed at the Cherokee Strip Museum Tulip Room in March.
