Reddies Go for Fifth Straight Win

Henderson State will attempt to win its fifth straight game as the Reddies play host to Southwestern Oklahoma on Thursday in Great American Conference play with tipoff set for 7:30 p.m. at the Duke Wells Center.

The Reddies enter the new year with an 8-2 record overall and 3-1 mark in GAC play. Henderson has not won five consecutive games since the beginning of the 2012-13 season when Henderson rattled off six straight victories.

Kaylon Tappin leads the Reddies offensively scoring 16.6 points per game. The junior from Little Rock has averaged 21.0 points the last four games.
