Kurt Wayne Smith, age 61, of Billings, Montana, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016, at the home of his son Nathan in Bozeman, Montana, the result of a heart attack.

Kurt was born in Alva, Oklahoma, March 4, 1955, to Robert and Verda (Holt) Smith. He attended school there, graduating in 1973. After spending time working in Colorado and Oklahoma, he joined his father-in-law in Wixom, Michigan, where he learned the plumbing trade.
