The low water pressure that affects the southwest part of Alva also impacts the Alva Recreation Complex. A discussion-only agenda item concerned the need to “top dress” the baseball and softball fields. All board members in attendance seemed to agree that was needed. Matt Tucker said the grass is so sparse on some pitchers mounds it should probably be removed until top-dressing and water can be applied.
