An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper decided to check on a vehicle he saw at a rural oil well location about 7:35 p.m. on Dec. 20, 2016. Trooper Brock Morgan saw the Dodge pickup backed into the driveway on the east side of County Road 430 in Woods County. Morgan drove past the site and then turned around and went back. As he approached, the vehicle pulled onto County Road 430 driving toward the south. Morgan turned around and activated his emergency lights.
