SHAWNEE – Autumn Avina recorded the first Lady Bison triple-double in more than a decade and Oklahoma Baptist claimed an 81-79 win over Southwestern Oklahoma State Saturday in the Noble Complex.

Avina had 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists and OBU needed every bit of that, as well as Katy Custer's 24 points and Tasha Edge's 23.

The Lady Bison came out on fire and led 26-9 at the end of the first quarter and spread the lead to 49-28 by halftime.

OBU had eight three-pointers in the first half.
