Woodward woman pinned after collision with semi

A Woodward woman was injured when the vehicle she was riding in struck the back of a semi. The collision occurred Monday, Jan. 23, at 7:54 a.m. on U.S. Highway 270, three-tenths of a mile southeast of the U.S. Highway 183 junction in Major County. The location is about a mile northwest of Seiling.

Marlene Lounice Morgan, 80, of Woodward was pinned in the van for about 30 minutes and was extricated by the Seiling Fire Department. She was transported by Seiling EMS to the Seiling Hospital and then transported by Air Evac to OU Medical in Oklahoma City. She was admitted in fair condition with arm...
