Studio 534 opens on Main Street in Kiowa

Main Street in Kiowa, Kansas, has a new business in an old building that is restored to its best appearance in decades, maybe ever since it was built.

Hair stylist Shelby (Williams) Nielsen transformed a building on the north side of Main Street next to the drug store into Studio 534. She and her husband Brian used a sledge hammer and more to strip off the old plaster to expose the original brick wall that is in vintage condition. With hardwood floors and many other improvements, Studio 534 has a polished, sleek personality where you too can have a new look.
