Noah Place, a senior at Alva High School and the son of Aaron and Erin Place, and brother to Emma Place, has been named January Student of the Month. Throughout high school he has been a part of band, cross country, track and Key Club.

Place's plans for the future include attending the University of Oklahoma to obtain a degree in music education. "Never second-guess yourself; if you're not sure if you want to do something, try it anyway," is the advice he gives to any underclassmen.
