Alva's Girl Scout Troop #969 helped the residents at the Homestead decorate picture frames and hearts for their Valentine craft. Carla Hess, the new activity director, asked the scouts to help her with their craft activity. The scouts helped the residents participating decide which craft they wanted to do. The residents glued on old puzzle pieces to their craft choice and then spray painted and glittered them. After the crafts dried, they applied magnets so the residents can hang them in their rooms.
