Goldbugs take a big loss to the Mustangs

RED ROCK, Okla.—The Alva High School Goldbugs were back on the road this Friday as they faced off with the Frontier Mustangs.

It was a tough battle for the Goldbugs against the Mustangs as Alva was able to stay within reach of Frontier for the first quarter, trailing by just four points, 13-17, going into the second.

The Goldbugs cut that lead to two off a putback from Grant Ritter, but 15-3 run form the Mustangs gave them a commanding lead over Alva with the score at 18-32. Shutting out the second quarter with a buzzer-beater trey, gave the Mustangs an 18-point lead over Alva going into halft...
