Woods County commissioners proclaim Farm Bureau Week

The Woods County commissioners responded to a request from Monty Lohmann and Joe Gatz to sign a proclamation for Farm Bureau Week, Feb. 20–24, 2017.
The commissioners opened bids on three mowers from Devery Equipment and Western Equipment. Devery had the higher trade-in offer ($8,535) per mower whereas Western Equipment offered $6,500 for two and $7,000 for one. Commissioner John Smiley asked that the bids be tabled so that he might figure out which was the better deal. Western Equipment's new mower price was $18,178.93 and Devery's price, with an option, was $18,980.
