Electric Gold members who performed as the Singing Valentine group include the following: (front row) Kristen Perks, Karsyn Madrid, Alaina Hurst, Kimberly Stuck, Hannah O'Neil, Hannah Kornele, (back row) Mattie Duncan, Anna Shelite, Austin Ferguson, Braylon Bradt, Max Cline, Chucky Knight, Blake Meiser, and Callie Duncan.

Alva High School Electric Gold went around town Tuesday, Feb. 14, delivering Singing Valentines. EG seniors and juniors, plus a couple of sophomores, split into two groups and sang their way through Valentine's Day. The EG kids performed a short version of "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King to each person. EG sold many singing valentines and even got extras throughout the day, this is one of their most popular fundraisers of the year.

"It was a really fun experience; I can't wait until next year to do it all again," commented junior EG member Alaina Hurst.

The EG members were dressed in their usual cheerful Valentines Day clothes, helping everyone feel in the spirit for this day. The members performed all over the community of Alva, from all of the public schools, to businesses and even the college. If you didn't get one this year, make sure to get yours next year!
