Cherokee Outlet Chapter of the DAR holds February meeting

Cherokee Outlet Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met on Feb. 8. The chapter hosted the Oklahoma Daughters of the American Revolution first Vice Regent Sue Allen and Frontier District Director Grace Ellsworth. They discussed the State Regent's Project.

The Chapter Regent Teri Piper presented the program on a female member of the Office of Strategic Services, the predecessor to the Central Intelligence Agency, Betty McIntosh. She worked as a reporter in Hawaii at the time of Pearl Harbor and was recruited to work for the OSS and its director, “Wild Bill” Donovan. There...
