The Alva Fire Department assists the Capron Fire Department with this grass fire in Capron Friday afternoon. The fire spread and threatened some structures before being controlled. Both departments had been at the scene of a grass fire about four miles east of Alva along U.S. Highway 64 before being routed to Capron....
