Waynoka Board of Education renews Meriwether's employment

The Waynoka Board of Education met Monday, Feb. 20, at 7:30 p.m. for a special meeting to review the evaluation of Michael Meriwether, principal, and vote on his reemployment, among other agenda items. After an executive session to discuss the topic, the board reconvened and voted to renew the employment of Meriwether for the 2017-2018 school year. The board also convened in a separate executive session to review the applications for the position of superintendent, but no action was taken at that time.
