Banger Places 12th at Newberry Invitational

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – After a 12-stroke improvement between rounds one and two on Monday at the Newberry College Invitational at the par-72, 6,626-yard Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, Harding men's golf hoped to continue the momentum in Tuesday's final round.
Unfortunately, the Bisons struggled to a third-round 320 and tied for 10th among the 16 teams entered with a 54-hole score of 920. Host Newberry College won the event at 873, topping second-place Clayton State by 15 strokes. Harding tied with Emmanuel College in Georgia.
