Early run of Lubbock Christian 3s lifts Chaparrals past Eagles

LUBBOCK, Texas (Feb. 23, 2017) – Lubbock Christian (Texas) hit seven of its first eight 3-point attempts to build a large early lead and cruised to an 83-60 win over Oklahoma Christian on Thursday night in the Rip Griffin Center.

Six different Chaparrals hit at least one 3-pointer as Lubbock Christian went 12-of-19 from behind the arc. Ridrell Holman led the way, scoring 25 points and going 5-of-8 from 3-point range.

OC (8-17, 3-14 Heartland Conference) had only two players reach double figures in scoring – seniors Keilan Horton (12 points) and John Moon (10 points).
