Weevils Baseball dominates Southeastern in opening series game

MONTICELLO — The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team took down Great American Conference foe Southeastern Oklahoma State Friday afternoon by a final score of 7-1 at Weevils Field.
UAM (4-8, 2-2 GAC) had its offense clicking from the start against the Savage Storm (1-9, 0-4 GAC) as the Weevils put up three runs in the bottom of the first inning behind an Andres Rios double down the left field line, and a Sean Wagner RBI single.
Arkansas-Monticello continued its scoring ways in the fifth with a Brian Ray single to right that brought home a run, and a Wagner sacrifice fly saw an ad...
