Lady Ranger seniors honored with final home victory

NWOSU's women's basketball Head Coach Tasha Diesselhorst plans out the team's plays durning a time out. NWOSU won agianst Ouachita Baptist University Saturday afternoon. The Lady Rangers ended the season with 9 wins and 19 losses.

ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State's women's basketball team sent their three seniors out on a high note with a 72-71 victory over Ouachita Baptist on Saturday afternoon.

A fast start to the contest that saw the Lady Rangers jump out to a 14-point lead midway through the opening quarter allowed Northwestern to edge out the Lady Tigers in the end. Junior Kalea King finished off her outstanding season with 21 points and seven boards, making her final case for post-season accolades that should be coming her way.
