Wonder Boys edge out Rangers in one-run game

Northwestern Oklahoma State baseball was unable to generate enough offense to back up starting pitcher Bryce Tomlin's brilliant performance on the mound, leading to a 1-0 defeat.

Northwestern opened up their first road series against Arkansas Tech on Friday night. The Ranger bats could only produce four hits throughout the game in what would prove to be an all-out pitcher's duel.

Both pitchers threw complete games, with the Wonder Boys capitalizing on the four hits they got on Tomlin. Tomlin fanned seven batters and only surrendered two walks. The lone run came on an RBI single in the bottom o...
