Barber County Extension offers “Cast Iron Cookery” on March 8 at noon at the Peoples Bank Sunflower Room. This is part of a monthly lesson being offered by the Extension Office this spring. “Cast Iron Cookery” will be taught by Pratt County Extension Agent Jodi Drake.

Cooks around the world prize their cast-iron cookware, which has many advantages over its aluminum siblings.
