An Aline man is facing drug charges after law enforcement officers conducted a search of his residence. According to court records, officers served a search warrant at the residence of David Lynn Powell on N. Main in Aline on Feb. 15 at 8:43 p.m.

During the search, a plastic baggie containing a crystalline substance was located in an end table in the living room. The substance was field tested and yielded a positive result for the presence of methamphetamine.
